Founded in 1975, the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) is the major advocate in Washington
DC for the nation's estimated 25 million Italian Americans. It's mission is to preserve and protect Italian American heritage and
culture through its many programs, and it is an entirely non-profit, non-partisan organization.

For 25 years Dante scholar Professor Robert Hollander of Princeton University has been conducting
an annual Reunion Seminar for the alumni of his unergraduate Dante course. At the most recent Princeton Reunion celebration, the 25th
anniversary was celebrated with a marathon reading of the entire Divina Commedia by Professor Hollander, other professors and a number
